Development

Roadmap

The broad directions planned to enrich Ex Inferis, consolidate its alpha, and open new regions of Brévelor.

Next steps

The major areas ahead

Development will move forward through iterations, consolidating the current experience. Version 0.7.0 brings online cooperation, solo with multiple heroes, parties combining players and companions, an online stash and each character’s personal loot reserve.

Cooperation

Consolidate party play

Refine companions, hero switching, return to lobby and player interactions through feedback from version 0.7.0 testing.

Continuous improvement

Refine gameplay and balance

Make combat clearer and more satisfying, adjust progression, and evolve values through observations gathered during the alpha.

Bestiary

Add new enemies

Expand the creature families encountered throughout the game to renew combat situations and the challenges faced by the heroes.

Combat

Add new skills

Develop new tactical possibilities and progressively enrich the choices available through the skill paths.

Loot

Create unique items and item sets

Introduce distinctive unique items and sets whose bonuses unlock when several pieces are equipped, enriching both the loot hunt and character builds.

Heroes

Deepen the Battle Mage

Continue refining his Arcane Path, the interactions between sword, shield, and spells, and his hybrid gameplay identity.

Exploration

Prepare the Cathedral

The Crypt and Cemetery are playable. The Cathedral remains a future direction for extending the adventure with a new atmosphere and encounters.

Art direction

Improve the game’s overall visual quality

Continue improving environments, characters, effects, and interface elements to strengthen the game’s visual consistency.

Narrative

Create new introductions

Add introductions for the Archer and the Battle Mage to establish each hero’s journey.

Living roadmap

Building with alpha feedback

Further fixes, finishing work, and improvements may join this list as testing reveals new needs. The roadmap will become more precise when priorities and their order of implementation are confirmed.
